Magazines are a wonderful and diverse medium. Each bead here is an entire page from National Geographic, cut into triangles, layered, and wound tightly around each other with adhesive. Afterwards, they take a dip in some gloss and are strung together.

A necklace with five of these bad boys is the perfect just-statement-enough piece. The black cord is sturdy waxed thread, secured with a decorative knot.

Since every unique bead is handmade one at a time, colors will vary.
